Introduction to elementary orchestra
Classes are offered to 4th and 5th grade students. 4th grade students will attend an assembly to see all of the instruments and be given a packet of information. 5th grade students will receive a welcome back letter. Both handouts have instructions on how to register your child for the orchestra program. If you have questions about this process, or you did not receive information, please contact me.
Students are expected to attend all classes unless they are absent, or being pulled out by another teacher. Students should always have their instruments on a class day unless they have been told otherwise. This includes half days and delay days.
Additional information can be found in the Orchestra Welcome Packet that students receive on the first day of classes. An electronic copy will be available on this page shortly.
Please check out the instrument resources page for some great tips about renting versus buying an instrument.
